Lietuvos Pulsas is a real-time national dashboard for Lithuania, showing the country's mood, economy, politics, real estate, demographics, and crime statistics.

How does the mood index work?

Every hour we scan the latest headlines from 6 major Lithuanian news sources. Each headline is scored by AI — sentiment from −1 (very negative) to +1 (very positive), along with emotion and category. The mood index is the average of the last hour's headlines.

Who built this?

Lietuvos Pulsas is a weekend project, built out of curiosity and a love for data. Everything is automated: data collection, AI analysis, and updates run without human intervention.
